ON THE BENCH / 3D STUDY 06 · FROM VIDEO

Cream blades,
in sheaves.

Cream to pale peach bladed crystals in sheaf-like sprays, with a darker mineral near the base and a banded, broken face on the back.
Stilbite-group by habit; calcite is not ruled out, and it has no label, only a price tag. Locality unknown.

Scan info 360°

Full 360°, from video. The specimen turned on a turntable while the phone filmed three orbits, then it was turned over for three more. Each turntable clip was cut to one full turn and the sharpest frame in every 50th of it kept, about one every 7°. The two halves were joined by shape before training. Detail is softer where the halves meet and softer than the video itself; two passes from straight above could not be placed and were left out.
