Quartz and calcite over pale blue-green fluorite, with pyrite. Its old woven label reads “Quartz, calcite, pyrite, fluorite · Morocco”. The label sits on the face it rested on here, which this model does not show.
Scan info Top and sides
Top and sides, from video. The specimen turned on a turntable while the phone filmed three orbits and a pass from straight above. It was also turned over and filmed again, but no clip saw both ways up, and the two halves could not be joined with confidence, so only the first half is here. The face it rested on was never filmed, so the view stops a little below the lowest angle the camera saw. Each turntable clip was cut to one full turn and the sharpest frame in every 50th of it kept, about one every 7°. Detail is softer than the video itself.
